I've got a couple of ARF's for sale. New in box. I only opened to inspect for any shipping damage. If possible I'd like to sell these by Sun. I'm trying to get some extra money so my girlfriend can take a photography class that she has been wanting to take. And sign up is Monday. I'd like to get what I paid for them at least.
I bought both on e-bay about 1 1/2 - 2 yrs ago. They are both sold by Will Hobby (a company in China).
The first is a .60 P-51 in the color scheme of the Reno racer Dago Red.
wing span = 65.2 in .90-1.25 4 stroke would power this plane great!
It's all built up construction with a fully sheeted fuselage and air foiled tail feathers. The cowl, canopy, and belly scoop is plastic. It also comes with some mechanical plastic/nylon main gear retracts. The included assembly instruction are not very good. The ARF has not been assembled. It's still new in the box and was only opened to inspect for any shipping damage.
I'll take $100.00 for the Dago Red P-51.
The other ARF is a .60 Sea Fury in silver and blue.
wing span = 66in. Can be powered be the same as most recommended engines for .60 size planes. But I recommend going with the upper end of that selection or slightly larger. The Sea Fury has a short nose moment. So a slightly larger (heavier and slightly more powerful) engine up front would help to offset the amount of added balast to obtain the proper GC. This plane would be perfect for a small gasser. The fiberglass cowling is HUGE!!! I can easily put my entire head in it! The fuselage is all fiberglass and has panel lines molded into it. It looks really good. The wings and horizontal stab are built up. The radiator scoops and canopy are plastic. It also comes with some mechanical plastic/nylon main gear retracts. The included assembly instruction are not very good. The ARF has not been assembled. It's still new in the box and was only opened to inspect for any shipping damage.
I'd like to get no less than $140.00 for the Sea Fury.
If interested please pm me or e-mail me at redtwilightzero@aol.com or my cell # is 919-672-5355.
If you are at the airfield this weekend I can bring them by to show/sell.
Thanks everyone!
